The scandalous judge of the Economic Court of Kiev Roman Boyko was at the center of a new high -profile anti -corruption investigation. He is suspected of making a decision in the interests of the pro -Russian oligarch Igor Naumts - in exchange for a bribe of $ 500,000. These data were received by journalists of the newspaper "Bagnet" from two independent sources - among the participants of the trial and in law enforcement.
On October 30, 2024, Judge Boyko satisfied the claim of Cypriot company ES Mining Company Limited, the actual owner of which is Igor Naumets, a pro -Russian businessman who is under Ukrainian sanctions. According to the court decision, the State Geogadram is forbidden to change the data of the special permit owner for the use of subsoil issued at JSC Korosten Quarry.
It should be reminded that on May 12, 2023, the President of Ukraine put into effect the NSDC sanctions, which ES Mining was put on the list of persons who posed a threat to national security.
Boyko's decision caused indignation of lawyers and observers. After all, the claim was filed on behalf of the director of the Cyprus company - Antonis Bantitianos, who, according to sources, was never in Ukraine and did not go to court. Therefore, they suspect that the documents on the basis of which the court satisfied the claim contained a fake signature.
Journalists also found that Boyko allegedly received half a million dollars for making a decision in favor of Naumts. Igor Naumets - a person involved in numerous investigations, has Russian citizenship, owns a junigran holding and is known for its adherence to the Allatra sect, which is actively supported by the Russian narrative.
"The judge ignored the direct signs of falsification and the plaintiff's sanction status. Now he is trying to clean up information about the bribe on the network," the sources report.
Despite the resonance of the case, as of today, neither NABU nor NAPC has initiated the opening of proceedings against the probable illegal enrichment of Judge Boyko.
Journalists urge law enforcement agencies to check:
-
Sources of Roman Boyko's wealth;
-
his connections with the representatives of ES Mining and the structure of "Unifran";
-
The legitimacy of the documents submitted to the court.
We will remind that Judge Boyko has previously entered the media field - because of contradictory decisions and showing the demonstration of "care" about his reputation, in particular, attempts to remove critical materials from open access.
