Judge Tandyr, who shot a National Guardsman to death in Kyiv, received almost UAH 400,000 as a judge's award

The well-known judge Oleksiy Tandyr, who is currently in the pre-trial detention center and will remain there for at least the next two months, continues to receive judicial fees. During the period from June to November last year, he received almost 400 thousand hryvnias.

This was reported by the Anti-Corruption Center. Previously, Tandyr claimed in court that he did not have any financial receipts.

We will remind that the judge is suspected of being involved in a fatal road accident that killed a National Guardsman. In addition to the criminal proceedings, a disciplinary case was also conducted against Tandyr, which was later discontinued, but the High Council of Justice resumed its consideration.

"Tandyr is not the only case. The State Audit Service identified 9 judges who were removed from justice due to prosecution, but who continued to receive remuneration. These judges took 6.5 million hryvnias from the budget. It is also worth noting the judge of the Bryankiv Court of the Luhansk Region, who received 2.4 million hryvnias from 2021, although he switched to the side of the enemy and received a passport of the Russian Federation," the CPC noted.

Among them is the judge of the Supreme Court Vsevolod Knyazev, who is suspected of receiving an illegal benefit. He also continues to receive a salary as a judge, despite the fact that he is not working and is in a pre-trial detention center.

According to activists, Tandyr, while serving as a judge, even allegedly helped to avoid responsibility for "drunk" driving.
