The General Inspectorate of the Prosecutor General's Office launched the Deputy Head of the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor's Office Alexander Maleyev after the material was published on his undeclared wealth. The reason for the scandal was the issue of the Super-Mama , in which the new wife of the official openly told about their luxurious lifestyle.
Checking and possible sanctions
The General Inspectorate revealed a disciplinary misconduct related to the inconsistency of Maleyev's official income and his real property status. In this regard, on January 17, the materials were transferred to the Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of Prosecutors (CDCP) , which opened the proceedings. Kateryna Koval, Deputy Chairman of the Communist Party, was appointed responsible for the consideration of the case .
It is expected that with all possible delayed consideration will take place until April 17 .
NAPC also took up Maleyev
In parallel, the National Anti -Corruption Agency (NACC) initiated a full verification of Alexander Maleyev's declaration for 2023. unlawful enrichment is proved , the prosecutor may threaten not only disciplinary punishment but also criminal liability .
The scandal surrounding the official once again raised the issue of hidden wealth of officials and impunity of corruption in Ukraine. Now it is necessary to wait for the CDCP and NAPC to bring the case to a logical conclusion, whether it will remain another loud but unsuccessful investigation.
