Suspect in fatal hotel shooting detained in Kyiv

Police in the Ukrainian capital have detained a suspect in a fatal shooting at a Kyiv hotel. The incident occurred on the night of November 23, when a fight broke out between several people, and one of the participants opened fire. The shooting left a 27-year-old man dead and two others injured.

The shooter who opened fire at a hotel and fatally wounded a man has been arrested. More details to follow

– the Kyiv police statement says. 

"The incident occurred today at around 1:00 a.m. A conflict arose between two companies in the hotel premises and a scuffle ensued, during which one of the suspects pulled out a weapon and fired several shots at the opponents.

The 27-year-old man died at the scene from his injuries, while the victim's friend and the facility's security guard were also injured. The latter were hospitalized in satisfactory condition.
