Unfortunately, this winter does not promise to be as comfortable as last year, when the supply of electricity and heat was stable and uninterrupted.
People's Deputy of Ukraine Serhiy Nagornyak said this in the studio of the KYIV24 channel. Nagornyak, who is a member of the Committee on Energy and Housing and Communal Services, emphasized that this winter will be significantly different from the usual one, when Ukrainians could count on 24-hour access to heat, electricity and water.
"We cannot predict how difficult the next winter will be - whether it will be extremely difficult or just difficult. But one thing can be said for sure: it will not be as easy as a normal winter, when everything worked without failures. The Russian occupiers will probably make every effort to create maximum inconvenience for Ukrainians and try to destroy our morale," said Nagornyak.
He also warned that in the information war, the Russians will try to shift the blame for possible problems with the power supply to the Ukrainian authorities, claiming that the reasons lie not in their actions, but in the "incompetence of the Ukrainian government."
