Sybiga and the European Commissioner discussed support for Ukrainians who wish to return home

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiga held a meeting with EU Commissioner for Internal Affairs Ilva Johansson. The main topic of the negotiations was assistance to Ukrainian citizens who were forced to leave the country due to the war, but now plan to return home.

Joint steps to help Ukrainians who plan to return to Ukraine were discussed, the minister said at X on September 12.

"... the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine held a separate meeting with the European Commissioner for Internal Affairs Ilva Johansson. I thanked Commissioner Johansson for all her efforts to support our people. We discussed joint steps aimed at helping our citizens who intend to return to Ukraine," said the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
