Symptoms of kidney patients: what should alert and when to see a doctor

The kidneys are a filtering station in our body, which cleanses the blood daily and excretes toxins. But when these vital organs cease to cope with their functions, our body gives signals - often inconspicuous and not associated with kidney diseases. Experts named 12 main symptoms that may indicate kidney problems.

1. The foam in the urine

Excessive foaming may indicate an increased protein or toxic content, which indicates a violation of the filtration function.

2. The muddy urine

Usually indicates the presence of sand or kidney stones.

3. Blood in the urine

Pink or red urine is an alarm. This can be the result of inflammation, damage or tumor process.

4. Frequent urination

It can be the result of irritation of the urinary tract or increased pressure on the bladder.

5. Pain in the lower back

Kidney pathologies are often made to know the pain in the lumbar area, especially on the one hand.

6. Headache, dizziness

They can be associated with anemia that develops with impaired renal function.

7. Chronic fatigue

Insufficient production of erythropoietin hormone leads to oxygen starvation of tissues and constant fatigue.

8. Nausea after eating

Poorly working kidneys do not excrete toxins properly, which causes intoxication, nausea and even vomiting.

9. Increased pressure

The kidneys are involved in the regulation of blood pressure, so disorders in their work can lead to hypertension.

10. Temperature and chills

Inflammatory processes associated with kidney infections can be accompanied by a sudden increase in body temperature.

11. Swelling

Liquid retention in the body due to poor kidney function causes swelling on the face, arms and legs.

12. Dry and itchy skin

Breakings in the kidneys lead to the accumulation of harmful substances in the body, which provoke itching and dryness of the skin.

Doctors advise you to consult doctors already when several of the following are occurring. The sooner you identify the problem, the more effective treatment will be. The kidneys can be silent for years, so it is important to listen to your body.
