The son of the police chief of Kyiv region escaped punishment for drug trafficking

The son of the Deputy Chief of Police of the Kyiv Region Oleksandr Petrenko was at the center of the scandal after it was possible to avoid punishment for serious criminal offenses, in particular for the production and distribution of amphetamine. It is known that Petrenko received a summons to the army, which allowed him to avoid litigation for his crimes. However, the information of the source, it did not get to the front and continues to live the usual life, and the "service" in the Armed Forces of Ukraine became only formality.

Oleksandr Petrenko, previously working as a police officer, has repeatedly lost in an unpleasant situation. In 2017, while working in Boryspil, he was detained at the wheel while intoxicated. However, the case was closed by the court.

With the outbreak of the war in 2022, Petrenko dismissed the police and began criminal activities, organizing drug business. Together with a group of accomplices, he created a network for the manufacture and sale of amphetamine, which was delivered through closed chats, avoiding checkpoints on cars. A year later, in October 2022, Petrenko was detained for the second time at the wheel in a state of drug intoxication, but this time the case was delayed and did not receive proper trial.

After the investigation of the case against the drug trafficking Petrenko and his accomplices, several indictments were put forward, but thanks to the support of his father - Oleg Petrenko, Deputy Chief of Police of the Kyiv Region, the young man delves the punishment. According to the source, his father used his ties with the former head of the Boryspil Criminal Code, Sergei Rusin to organize a "fictitious" son of a son in the army. Oleksandr Petrenko received a summons and formally became a serviceman, which allowed him to delay the sentence.

However, according to information, Petrenko never got to the front, continuing to lead the usual lifestyle in Boryspil. His father, through connections and influences, arranged his son's service "on paper", and Petrenko himself even publishes a photo in military uniform without leaving his hometown.

Despite the formal status of a serviceman and notifying the search by law enforcement agencies, the investigation is ongoing. Whether investigators can deal with this case and punish the perpetrators - a question that remains open. But more and more facts indicate that influential relationships can significantly affect the outcome of the case, avoiding punishment even in case of serious crimes.
