The wife of Ukrainian singer Viktor Pavlik, blogger and entrepreneur Kateryna Repyakhova, talked about the injury of their 3-year-old son Mykhailo. During one of the medical examinations, the boy was very frightened by the electroencephalography (EEG), which caused severe stress.
According to Repyakhova, during the procedure, Mykhailo was put on a hat with wiring that was too small, which led to discomfort - the ears bent, which caused a strong hysteria in the child. Because of this, the procedure did not take place. "There were three attempts. Very strong hysteria and fright," said Kateryna. After this incident, the family decided to take a break from examinations and classes until May to give the child a chance to recover.
Mykhailo was diagnosed with dyspraxia, a neurological disorder that affects the ability to perform voluntary movements and navigate in space. Parents actively work with specialists to support their son's development and help him on his way to speech.
