Tomorrow, January 9, bad weather will continue to rage in Ukraine, blizzards are expected in some places. At night, the temperature will drop to 15-20° of frost, and in two regions even to 25°.
This is reported by the Ukrhydrometeorological center.
"At night in the southern and southeastern regions, during the day in the extreme south of the country there will be snow, in some places ice, in the rest of the territory there will be no precipitation," forecasters said, adding that the wind will be northeasterly with a transition to northwesterly, 5-10 m /s, in the southern part at night in places gusts of 15-20 m/s, blizzards.
At the same time, according to the Ukrhydrometeorological center, the temperature will drop to 15-20° of frost at night, to 25° in Chernihiv and Sumy regions, and 7-12° during the day.
"In the southern regions and Transcarpathia, 8-13° of frost at night, 1-6° of frost in Crimea, 2-7° of frost during the day, around 0° in Transcarpathia and Crimea," the forecasters added.
Bad weather in Ukraine
In Ukraine, as a result of bad weather in the morning, electricity was cut off in hundreds of settlements, the worst situation with light is in the Dnipropetrovsk region. There are also disruptions to public transport in the regions, and ice and strong winds have caused falling trees, traffic jams and accidents.
The bad weather will continue to rage in the coming days. In particular, the situation on the roads can worsen significantly, because the sand-salt mixture, which is used for sprinkling roads, significantly loses its properties at temperatures below 15° of frost, so you should not leave the house without an urgent need. The situation is so complicated that schools in the Odesa region have been switched to online learning.
