On Friday, February 14, a cold front will cover Ukraine, bringing snow to some regions. At the same time, daytime temperatures will remain relatively warm.
According to weather forecaster Natalka Didenko, the air temperature during the day will fluctuate within +1…+6°C, in the south – up to +9°C. At night, frosts of -5…-12°C are expected in most regions, and in the west – from +1°C to -3°C.
Snowfall is forecast in the western, northern, and partly central regions on February 14 due to the influence of an atmospheric front from the northwest. At the same time, dry weather will remain in the southern and eastern regions.
Snow is also expected in Kyiv, the night temperature will drop to -6°C, and during the day it will warm up to +2°C.
According to Didenko's forecasts, frost will intensify in Ukraine on February 15, and significant precipitation is also possible - snow, sleet, and in the south, rain in places. The cold snap will last until the end of the month, and the frost may ease only after February 25.
