Forecaster Natalya Didenko told what the weather will be like on Vodokhreshcha

Ukraine will surprise you with warmth and changeable weather at the beginning of January. According to forecaster Natalya Didenko, already on January 6, the air temperature is expected to be +1...+5 degrees, and the next day, January 7, the thermometers will rise to +5...+12 degrees. However, the weather conditions will be accompanied by sleet, rain and a gusty south wind.

Kyiv: warm and windy

In Kyiv, +2°C is expected on January 6, and up to +7°C on January 7. Forecasters warn of possible wet snow, which will turn into rain, as well as a gusty southwest wind.

"Keep your heads and blood vessels in balance, don't get your feet wet, don't slip, and be sure to wrap your neck. Don't forget to feed the birds properly," Natalya Didenko reminded in her message.

Forecasters call for caution, especially due to changing weather conditions, which contribute to icy conditions and an increase in injuries. Special attention should be paid to drivers - the roads will remain dangerous due to wet snow and rain.

Weather in the regions

January 6:

  • North and West: +1...+4°C, wet snow is possible.
  • Center and East: +2...+5°C, cloudy, rain.
  • South: up to +7°C, rainy weather.

January 7:

  • The temperature in the regions will vary between +5...+12°C.
  • Cloudy with clearings, precipitation is possible in places.

The Ukrainian hydrometeorological center notes that due to gusts of wind and ice, danger level I (yellow) has been declared. With this in mind, it is important to be careful and avoid unpredictable situations on the roads.

We remind you that despite the winter period, such temperature drops and warming are not uncommon in modern climate conditions. Be prepared for the vagaries of the weather and celebrate safely.
