Despite the widespread idea of the harm of solid cheeses for the figure, the real Italian parmesan - Parmigiano reggiano - can be a useful part of a healthy diet. This was told by a dietitian Marta Garai.
She emphasizes: it is about classical parmesan made according to the traditional recipe - only from unpasteurized milk, rennet enzyme and salt, without any preservatives.
“This cheese contains a lot of protein, calcium, phosphorus, selenium and has virtually no lactose. It long gives a feeling of satiety, supports muscle tissue and strengthens the immune system. This is an example of a truly natural product that should be added to your diet, especially if you want to eat balanced, ”Garai said.
Due to prolonged maturation, parmesan is easily absorbed, does not cause digestive problems, and its nutritional density makes it valuable for those who control weight, avoid snacks and seek healthy energy sources.
Nutritionists advise to combine parmesan with greens, vegetables or add it to sauces. Especially appropriate - in dinner, because it gives a sense of saturation and reduces the risk of late attacks of hunger.
