Our sources reported that Syrsky is demanding tough wording in the draft law on mobilization, but the deputies do not want to take on unconstitutional norms.
People's Deputy Mariana Bezugla writes about the "panic" of the head of the defense committee, Zavitnevych, after the exclusion of amendments on liability for evaders from the bill on strengthening mobilization.
After the vote, he closed the meeting.
“After weeks of “blah-blah” about mobilization, the Committee finally began considering specific amendments and stumbled on the very first question, which was presented as a prepared “discussed” “thematic block”. And it turned out to be a waste of time. Today, there were not enough votes to restrict the rights of citizens at the request of the CCK SP. The norm is excluded. The chairman of the committee panics (?) – the meeting is closed,” Bezugla wrote.
Bezugla says that she voted to repeal the rule because it is “written incorrectly and does not correlate” with the administrative and criminal codes, “and without accountability, it would simply be a repressive political statement and would create additional corruption risks, as if we didn’t already have enough of them in the CCC of the Joint Venture.”.
