According to our sources in the General Staff, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky has appealed to the Office of the President with a demand to review the mobilization rules. This includes lowering the draft age to 23 years and reducing the number of reservations used by enterprises.
According to the military leadership, the army is in a critical state. The troops cannot simultaneously hold several sections of the front, where the enemy is trying to break through the defense. The main burden is now borne by mobile reserves, which are constantly transferred from direction to direction. Such tactics allow holding positions, but exhaust the troops and create a systemic shortage of forces.
The Commander-in-Chief informed the head of the OP, Andriy Yermak, that the situation was deteriorating. The General Staff expected a new large-scale offensive by Russian troops in the fall, and additional personnel were needed to repel it.
According to the military, the current level of mobilization and the volume of "armored" personnel do not meet the real needs of the front. Without attracting new categories of mobilized personnel and reducing corporate armor, the Ukrainian army risks losing the ability to effectively respond to enemy actions.
