The situation on the Eastern Front has significantly escalated in recent days, with the Russians achieving "tactical success" in a number of directions, said Commander-in-Chief Syrsky.
“This is primarily due to the significant intensification of the enemy's offensive actions after the presidential elections in Russia,” the commander-in-chief said.
"The enemy is actively attacking our positions in the Limansky and Bakhmut directions with assault groups supported by armored vehicles. In the Pokrovsky direction, he is trying to break through our defenses using dozens of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles.".
This is facilitated by warm, dry weather, which has made most of the open areas of the area accessible to tanks,” Syrskyi said.
According to him, “the enemy is increasing its efforts by deploying new armored units, thanks to which it periodically achieves tactical success.”.
