In Ukraine, in the last year, prices for housing and communal services have increased significantly. This is evidenced by the official data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
According to the report, compared to April 2024, the average increase in tariffs was 20.1%, but the increase was not all types of services.
The most sensible was the increase in power prices - by 63.6%. This is the highest increase among all utilities in the year.
Other services also went up, though not so rapidly:
-
export of household waste - by 10.7%;
-
service of apartment buildings - by 18.9%;
-
repair and maintenance of housing stock - by 3.3%;
-
water supply - 0.7%;
-
Drainage (sewage) - by 0.6%.
At the same time, heating, hot water and natural gas tariffs remained unchanged.
In the first months of 2025, experts also record the continuation of growth:
-
The cost of maintenance of multi -storey buildings has increased by 10.3%since the beginning of the year;
-
sewage - +0.6%;
-
water supply - +0.7%;
-
repair and maintenance of housing - +1.6%;
-
Garbage removal - +1.6%.
The increase in tariffs occurs against the background of general economic pressure on the household, and the greatest blow to the consumer budget causes the price of electricity. At the same time, the stability of heat and gas tariffs temporarily softens the total load.
Experts warn that in the event of a change in state policy in the field of tariff regulation, new waves of rising prices in the second half of 2025 are possible.
