The military commissariats of the Podilskyi district "checked the documents of everyone present and tried to take men who did not have the necessary documents to undergo a military medical examination.".
The organizers are confident that "among all the mass cultural and educational events held in Kyiv today, representatives of the CCC chose only the LGBTQ event for inspection.".
“We view these actions as targeted pressure on the pride movement in Ukraine,” the statement said. It is reported that KyivPride events planned for today and tomorrow will not be canceled.
