Despite the rapid development of technology and artificial intelligence in various fields, military experts emphasize the unwavering weight of experienced and dedicated soldiers on the front. The commander of "Azov" Denys Prokopenko, known as "Radis", noted that war is first and foremost an art, and not just the pursuit of advanced technologies. He expressed fears that the idea of completely replacing the military with robotic equipment could cause stagnation in the training of soldiers.
“Technology may play a key role in the future, but the importance of the experience and dedication of the infantry remains indispensible. Infantry training and discipline are crucial, especially in the context of high-tech military conflicts," the commander emphasized.
Prokopenko also noted that interaction with a strong enemy requires well-trained and disciplined infantry, even in the context of the concept of network-centric warfare. He emphasized that in the case of ineffective training of the infantry, the technologies can lose their effectiveness, especially in wide frontal attacks.
"Even with highly developed anti-aircraft defenses and powerful EW, many innovative technologies can be neutralized. We have our own approach to training, where the main role is played by a motivated, well-trained soldier, supported by modern equipment," he concluded.
