Now you can report enemy equipment in Viber

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine (GUR) recently launched a new communication channel to receive important information about the movement of enemy equipment and troops through the popular Viber messenger. The move allows citizens both in the temporarily occupied territories and in Russia to anonymously and securely transmit data on military movements that may be of strategic importance.

According to the press service of the GUR, during the two years of operation of the main intelligence bot, Ukraine received a significant number of appeals, which helped to impress the enemy. The technologies of the Viber version of the bot are designed in such a way as to guarantee the maximum level of security for contacting users. All communications and data of informants are protected from access by enemy special services.

“We have thoroughly tested this communication channel, and we can state that no hostile party will be able to gain access to your data or correspondence. This is important for the safety of our informants," said Andrii Yusov, a representative of the HUR.
