January 2025 continues to surprise Ukrainians with an unusually warm winter without snow. However, the weather remains cold with strong winds and icy roads, especially at night.
According to "Ukrhydromettsentr", on January 5, cloudy weather is expected in Kyiv and the region with clearing, but without precipitation. The temperature will vary:
- at night : from -4° to -6°;
- during the day : from -2° to 0°.
Ice is possible on the roads in places, so drivers should be careful. The wind is southwest, 5-10 m/s.
Precipitation is also not expected in most of the territory of Ukraine, the weather will be cloudy with clearing. Light snow is possible only in the Carpathians and Transcarpathia. Temperature indicators:
- at night: -4°…-9°;
- during the day : -3°...+2°.
It is colder in the Carpathians: -9°...-14° at night, -1°...-6° during the day.
Icy is possible on the roads of Ukraine, so drivers should be careful.
Forecasters predict that January will remain warm with occasional cold spells and snow. In general, temperatures will be close to current values.
"We expect that this January will be relatively warm, the temperature indicators will remain almost as they are now," said one of the forecasters.
