The terms of passing VLK are limited to those who are eligible for long-term use

In Ukraine, by February 4, 2025, all servicemen who have previously received the status of "restricted" must undergo a second military medical commission (VLK). However, because of the complexity with the organization of this process, the government plans to extend the terms and delay the use of fines.

This was stated by the deputy head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine Irina Vereshchuk, emphasizing the scale of the problem.

According to Law No. 3621, which came into force on May 4, 2024, the status of "restricted" was actually abolished. Everyone who had this status must undergo VLK in 9 months and get a topical medical report. The deadline is February 4, 2025.

According to Vereshchuk, more than a million citizens have not yet undergone a medical certificate. The reasons are different:

  • People did not get calls to the VLK.
  • In the territorial centers of completion (TCC) there were queues that make it impossible to maintain.

"It is absolutely unrealistic to pass so many people through February 4," Vereshchuk emphasized.

Three key steps have been offered to solve the problem:

  1. Continuation of the terms of medical certificate. Currently, work with deputies is being underway to make legislative changes.
  2. Delaying penalties. It is planned that legal sanctions will not be applied to stabilization.
  3. Optimization of work of VLK. The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Defense are developing graphs that will allow you to process anyone who needs again.

"This is a constructive approach, but all limited fit should undergo a physical examination, as required by law," Vereshchuk emphasized.

The abolition of the status of "restricted" stipulates that citizens will receive a clear medical report that will determine their suitability for service:

  • Suitable.
  • Unsuitable.

The purpose of the law is to ensure transparency and efficiency of mobilization.

Without a re -medical report, citizens are at risk of penalties or other legal sanctions. However, while their use is planned to be suspended.

The re -passing of the VLK not only determines the suitability of the service, but also allows you to obtain up -to -date data on the state of health of citizens.
