Law enforcement officers have detained Ivan Rudoy, the head of the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (KRAL). The arrest was carried out by employees of the State Bureau of Investigation together with the Prosecutor General's Office.
He is reportedly suspected of aiding Russian representatives.
It is noted that during the search, a substance similar to a narcotic was found on Rudy.
So far, law enforcement agencies have not officially commented on the detention of the head of KRAL.
As we wrote, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the second reading the bill on strengthening control over the gambling market No. 9256-d. It provides for the liquidation of the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries and restrictions on gambling advertising.
