The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine failed to meet the deadlines for developing a draft law on demobilization, which has drawn criticism from MPs. MP Inna Sovsun stated this in her address to the government.
According to her, on April 11, the Rada adopted a resolution instructing it to develop a draft law on demobilization within eight months. This deadline expired last Wednesday.
Since then, the government has not presented any such bill.
Recall that the provision on demobilization was removed from the law on increasing military recruitment adopted in the spring (the initial version included a provision on demobilization after 3 years of service in wartime) - promising to develop a separate bill instead.
Later, Servant of the People made it clear that the refusal to demobilize was a demand of the West.
