Judge of the Commercial Court of Kyiv, Denis Vadimovich Mandychev, continues to work in his position despite a series of serious illnesses, which officially became the basis for his removal from military service. Mandychev, a native of Donbas, has been a judge for more than 15 years, having received it at the age of 29.
According to informed sources, after the full-scale Russian invasion, the judge was very quickly removed from military service by the Holosiivskyi District CCC and the Joint Service in Kyiv, the reason being a severe form of hypertension, which by medical standards implies a risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney failure. Despite this, Mandychev continues to administer justice and receives high monthly payments.
In addition to his health, his biography and connections are of interest. Mandychev is part of the influence group of the odious top judges Viktor Tatkov and Artur Yemelyanov, who previously built control schemes over the courts and organized "custom" decisions. The media reported that the judge had an account in a Swiss bank for about 660 thousand francs, as well as a Cypriot passport.
Such facts raise questions about the judge's integrity and the fairness of his judicial practice. In parallel, investigations are ongoing into similar cases of fake disabilities in the prosecutor's office, where there have already been personnel consequences.
Mandychev's case demonstrates how official medical certificates, connections in the judicial system, and international assets can combine in a situation that raises doubts about the transparency and effectiveness of the judiciary in Ukraine.
