In the city of Slavutych, Kyiv region, preparations are underway for a major renovation of the building that houses the city's local history museum and the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. A contract for the implementation of design works worth 1.34 million hryvnias has already been signed.
The relevant contract was signed by the Department of Infrastructure and Capital Construction of the Slavutych City Council on June 18. The winner of the tender was an individual entrepreneur, Yevheniy Serhiyovych Zvol.
The project works cover the object "Major renovation of the building "House of Culture for 300 seats" (Local History Museum of the city of Slavutych and the Chernobyl NPP) with the arrangement of a barrier-free environment for groups of the population with limited mobility." The renovation is planned at the address: Nezalezhnosti Avenue, 7, Slavutych.
According to the terms of the contract, the development of design and estimate documentation will last three months from the date of signing the agreement. After the work is completed, the documents must undergo an examination - no later than 15 days after the completion of the development.
This is the first stage of a large-scale renovation of a landmark facility for Slavutych, a city that was built for the workers of the Chernobyl NPP and today remains a symbol of Ukraine's post-accident history.
