Oleksiy Kiryushchenko, known as the screenwriter and director of the TV series "Servant of the People", joined El-energo as a co-owner last year. This move turned out to be beneficial for the firm, as from then on it began to receive significant contracts for the sale of electricity. Information about this appeared in a recent investigation by Bihus.Info. According to journalists, from October 2023 to May 2024, the company concluded 12 contracts for a total amount of over 750 million hryvnias. It is interesting that before Kiryushchenko's joining, the firm did not carry out any activities, although it was founded in September 2022 and received a license to supply electricity in November of the same year.
In August 2023, the director Oleksiy Kiryushchenko, who collaborated with the projects of the Kvartal 95 studio, became a co-owner of the El-energo company, receiving a 49% share. Oleksandr Khandryga became his partner in this business, owning 51% of the company. The main activity of "El-energo" is electricity trading, as stated in the notification.
According to the data, the largest agreement was concluded with KP "Dniprovodokanal" of the Dnipro City Council in the amount of 521 million hryvnias, and the deadline for implementation is set until the end of 2024. Journalists tried to find out more about the new business from Kiryushchenko, but he reacted very aggressively to their questions.
At first, the man pretended not to understand what was being said. But when the journalist started asking more detailed questions, he tried to claim that he was not Oleksiy Kiryushchenko at all. Realizing that such a trick does not work, he went on to insult and accuse the journalist and the editors of Bihus.Info.
Oleksiy Kiryushchenko was born in Ukraine, but lived and worked in Russia for a long time. He even has Russian citizenship, and in 2015 he received a permit for permanent residence in Ukraine. In recent years, he collaborated with such projects of the "Kvartal 95" studio as the TV series "Swati", "Papik" and "Servant of the People".
After the election of Volodymyr Zelenskyi as the President of Ukraine, Kiryushchenko became a member of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. He also participated in the development of a TV channel for the occupied territories. In 2023, together with producer Artem Kolyubayev, he became a co-owner of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) manufacturing company Culver, owning 5% of the shares.
