Tetyana Krupa, head of the Khmelnytskyi Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEC), who is under investigation for suspected illicit enrichment, will remain in her position for another year. According to court documents, the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council has extended her contract until November 2025.
During searches of Tetyana Krupa's home, law enforcement officers discovered significant amounts of cash — $6 million, as well as $590,000 in accounts in a Polish bank. In addition, the presence of real estate, including hotels, land plots and houses abroad, was discovered, which, according to the investigation, may indicate illegal enrichment.
Despite this, the local regional council decided to extend Krupa's contract, even though her suspicions of committing financial crimes have not yet been finally considered by the court.

While the investigation is ongoing, Tetyana Krupa will continue to perform her duties as head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEK. At the same time, law enforcement officials promise to thoroughly check her assets and sources of income as part of a criminal case on illicit enrichment.
The regional council's decision to extend the contract has sparked debate among the local community and political experts, as it may raise doubts about the transparency and effectiveness of the fight against corruption in state institutions.
