Ternopil City District Court fined local resident Inessa Lipina-Senyk for violating the rules for keeping pets. The woman kept 15 dogs of different breeds in her apartment, which caused an unpleasant smell and constant noise, which neighbors repeatedly complained about.
According to the court, the patrol officers arrived at the call around midnight on September 29, 2025. The residents of the house reported that the barking of dogs was disturbing their sleep, and an unpleasant odor was coming from the apartment. During the inspection, the police found that the woman had previously been complained about, and an administrative report was drawn up on September 10.
Lipina-Senik pleaded guilty in court. The court noted that the woman violated the decision of the Ternopil City Council on keeping pets, which prohibits gathering a large number of animals in an apartment, leaving them unattended for more than 10 hours, and creating unsanitary conditions.
Since this is a repeated violation, the court imposed a double fine on her — 680 UAH, and also collected 605 UAH in court costs.
