He received a summons, but did not appear for a medical examination at the Military Medical Service, for which the court found him guilty and imposed a fine of 5,100 hryvnias.
According to the verdict of the Artsyz District Court, passed on December 4, the incident occurred after the man received a summons under his personal signature on November 5. He was warned that he had to appear the next day at 09:00 and that he would face criminal liability if he did not appear. However, as it turned out, the defendant did not fulfill his duties without good reason, and admitted in court that he had avoided military registration due to fear of military action.
During the hearing, the accused pleaded guilty and expressed remorse. The court took these circumstances into account, imposing a minimum sentence of a fine. The verdict can be appealed within 30 days, after which the decision will become final.
