Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders have repelled 158 combat clashes in various directions of the front. The enemy has carried out intensive attacks in several areas, inflicting 78 air strikes, carrying out over 5,000 shellings, and also using about 1,600 kamikaze drones. The occupiers have shown the greatest activity in the Kurakhiv and Pokrovsky directions.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in its morning briefing.
The enemy carried out 78 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and civilian settlements, including dropping 134 guided bombs. In addition, two missiles hit targets in Ukrainian-controlled territories. Russian troops used more than 1,600 kamikaze drones to destroy targets, and also carried out 112 attacks from multiple rocket launchers.
The attacks caused significant damage in Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk and Zaporizhia regions. The most affected settlements were in the Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Toretsk and Pokrovsk districts, where Russian troops attacked both residential areas and positions of Ukrainian defenders.
The defense forces repelled attacks by Russian troops in 12 directions. In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy conducted two offensive actions in the Vovchansk area. The Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped nine attempts by the invaders to advance in the Kucherivka, Kruglyakivka, and Lozovo areas.
In the Lymansky direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 15 attacks concentrated near Hrekivka, Nevsky, and Bilogorivka. In the Siversky direction, our units successfully stopped an enemy attack near Verkhnyokamyansky.
In the Toretsk direction, Russian troops, supported by bomber aircraft, attempted to advance nine times in the areas of Toretsk, Shcherbinivka, and Nelipivka. The defense forces in the Pokrovsky direction repelled 39 enemy attacks, with the largest number of attacks concentrated near Promen, Lysivka, and Hryhorivka.
The situation in the Kurakhiv direction remained extremely tense: the occupiers made 40 attempts to break through Ukraine's defenses in the areas of Ilyinka, Novoselidivka, Novodmytrivka, and Antonivka.
In the Vremiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five attacks near Bogoyavlenka and Maksymivka. In the Orikhiv direction, one assault was recorded in the direction of Novoandreyevka, and in the Prydniprovs'kyi direction, the enemy tried to break through the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine three times.
On the northern borders, in particular in the Chernihiv region, Russian troops maintain a presence and conduct reconnaissance, shelling Ukrainian border positions.
The situation in the Volyn and Polissya directions remains stable, with no signs of the formation of enemy strike groups.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' aviation and missile forces continue to strike the enemy. Over the past day, the Ukrainian military has launched five strikes on Russian troop concentrations, as well as hit an electronic warfare station and other occupiers' facilities.
