Mine shortage could cost Ukraine the loss of Pokrovsk

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are facing a serious shortage of anti-tank mines, making it difficult to create full-fledged defensive lines in key areas. According to a source in the General Staff, the lack of this type of weapon jeopardizes effective defense, especially in eastern Ukraine.

In particular, the situation in the Pokrovsk area is critical. If the enemy manages to capture this city, it will open up operational space, allowing it to advance unhindered towards the Dnieper. This not only threatens the stability of the front, but can also pose a serious threat to strategically important facilities and supply routes in the region.

In the absence of the necessary means to counter tank attacks, Ukrainian troops are forced to use other methods of defense, but full-fledged anti-tank defense still remains one of the main components for deterring aggression in this direction.
