Deputy Chairman of the Lviv Regional Council Yuriy Kholod declared a wedding gift of UAH 2 million, which he received from his parents Igor and Romania Kholod. The official indicated this money as a gift in kind, which is about $48,000 at the exchange rate.
His chosen one was 27-year-old Sofia Hanyak, known on social networks as Sofia Schaslyva. The wedding ceremony took place in the five-star country complex Edem Resort Medical & SPA, owned by former People's Deputy from the Svoboda party Ihor Kryvetsky. Kholod refused to disclose additional details of the celebration.
According to information from open sources, in 2023, Sofia introduced herself as the head of the social department of the Hope UA charitable foundation, associated with the Hrynkevich family. For Yuriy Kholod, this is the first marriage.
The official himself was elected to the Lviv Regional Council from the Servant of the People party. Since 2019, he has been working as the deputy head of the LOR, and since 2023, he has been acting as the head. Before entering politics, Kholod worked in the family business "Romus-Polygraph".
In his 2024 tax return, the official listed a family home, a rented apartment, and two apartments under construction. His annual salary in the Lviv Regional Council was UAH 285,000. He also declared an Audi Q5 car purchased in 2022 and significant cash savings: USD 35,000, EUR 15,000, and UAH 114,000.
