Domestic quarrel ended in arson: indictment submitted to court in Dnipro

A pre-trial investigation into a man who set fire to his wife's house has been completed in Dnipro. The indictment has been sent to the court for consideration on the merits.

The incident occurred in May in the Dnipro district. During an argument with his wife, the man waited until the woman was not at home, then doused the sofa in the living room with flammable liquid and set it on fire with a lighter.

As a result of the fire, two rooms of the house were damaged, and some furniture, household appliances, and personal belongings were destroyed.

At the end of August, the attacker was reported as suspected under Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - intentional damage to another's property committed by arson.

The pre-trial investigation has now been completed, and the indictment has been submitted to the court.
