As a result of enemy shelling on the section between Mykolaiv and Kherson, railway tracks were damaged. As Ukrzaliznytsia reported on its Telegram channel, in connection with this, trains heading to Kherson will stop in Mykolaiv. For the convenience of passengers, transportation to Kherson will be organized by buses.
“All 78 of our passengers to Kherson will be delivered to their destination with the maximum possible comfort,” Ukrzaliznytsia noted. This demonstrates the desire of railway workers to ensure safety and convenience for passengers, even in difficult conditions.
Railway repair crews have already left for the scene to carry out restoration work. Ukrzaliznytsia noted: “We plan to restore rail service by the return flight.” This indicates a quick response to the incident and readiness to restore normal operation.
It later became known that all passengers who were headed to Kherson and were forced to stop in Mykolaiv due to shelling were successfully transferred to buses. Together with the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the railway workers ensured their transportation to the city.
