In Pokrovsk, Russian units have a significant numerical advantage over Ukrainian defenders and are gradually creating conditions for further clearing the city, a fighter with the call sign "Muchnoy" reported on his Telegram channel. According to him, in some areas the enemy outnumbers them by up to 20 times, and a methodical practice of positions and the capture of "high-rises" is underway.
The situation in Pokrovsk remains extremely tense. A Ukrainian serviceman with the call sign “Muchnoy,” who regularly reports on events in the area, describes the enemy as forces that are deliberately stretching across certain areas of the city, practicing dispersion and gradually capturing high-rise “high-rises.” His report suggests that what is called the “gray zone” is essentially turning into territory with a clear enemy advantage.
According to "Muchny", the Russians are operating intensively in the Dynasivskyi district, making quick raids to the east of the high-rise buildings, in the area of the feed mill, where sabotage and reconnaissance groups have been spotted. Some of the high-rise buildings, he said, are already under enemy control or are under constant fire pressure. At the same time, in the private sector, the enemy is cautiously advancing along the territory of the meat processing plant.
The military also cites several local positives for the defense: Ukrainian units spotted an enemy unit near the RSI enterprise and eliminated it, which “provides small point successes in the defense.” However, he warns: if one enemy group manages to establish control from the east, block the escape routes, and organize fire control, the city may find itself in a tight encirclement, and further pressure on the defense will become systemic, not chaotic.
Independent reports from local and national media have recorded increased combat activity and indicated hundreds of clashes in the area: reports over the past few days have included a significant number of attacks and assaults in the Pokrovske direction. Official reports from the General Staff and regional outlets have also reported on intense combat and operations to contain enemy advances.
In addition, a number of sources drew attention to the critical situation with human losses in the areas of combat operations: there are reports of mass deaths and logistical problems of the enemy, which led to publications about the storage of bodies in non-standard premises in the occupied territories (in particular, mentions of meat processing plants in the region), which indicates the intensity of fighting in adjacent areas.
