During the night attack by Russian troops on Ukraine, an industrial facility in Ternopil region was hit, causing a large-scale fire. The Ternopil Regional Military Administration (OVA) reported this on its Telegram channel.
According to the OVA, 45 rescuers and 12 units of special equipment from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), as well as 12 officers of the National Police, who worked with four units of equipment, were immediately sent to the scene of the incident. Thanks to coordinated and professional actions, the fire was quickly localized and extinguished.
Despite the significant impact, there were no deaths or injuries. The Ministry of Internal Affairs published photos of the aftermath of the attack, showing the extent of the damage.
This is not the first case of an attack on critical infrastructure in Ukraine, but the promptness of rescuers and law enforcement officers once again helped to avoid human losses and minimize the consequences.
