Szybiga and the European Commissioner discussed support for Ukrainians who wish to return home

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga met with EU Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson. The main topic of the talks was assistance to Ukrainian citizens who were forced to leave the country due to the war but now plan to return home.

Joint steps were discussed to help Ukrainians who plan to return to Ukraine, the minister said in X on September 12.

“… a separate meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine with the EU Commissioner for Home Affairs, Ylva Johansson. I thanked the European Commissioner Johansson for all her efforts aimed at supporting our people. We discussed joint steps aimed at helping our citizens who intend to return to Ukraine,” the Foreign Minister noted.
