The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine has registered criminal proceedings against the father and brother of Deputy Prosecutor General Maria Vdovichenko. The relatives of the officials hold passports of the Russian Federation and, according to the investigation, are cooperating with the Russian occupiers.
According to the Anti-Corruption Center, Vdovichenko's brother, Oleksandr Levandovsky, appears in the case under Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason), and his father, Serhiy Levandovsky, under Part 1, 4 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaborative activities).
Investigators found out that Oleksandr Levandovsky was the deputy Feodosia military prosecutor of Ukraine until 2014. After the occupation of Crimea, he received a Russian passport and joined the Russian military prosecutor's office. Maria Vdovichenko's father has a business in occupied Crimea, Russian citizenship and passport, as well as assets in the territory controlled by Ukraine. At the same time, Vdovichenko's declaration indicates only his father's Ukrainian citizenship.
Note that Maria Vdovichenko is signing procedural documents in criminal proceedings against NABU detective Ruslan Maghamedrasulov, who is suspected of allegedly aiding Russia.
