The First Deputy Head of the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office, Yaroslav Golynsky, and his wife declared income of over 6 million hryvnias for 2024. Of these, almost 5 million were gifts from relatives, the sources of whose income are not officially known.
As the Absolution detective agency found out, Golynsky himself received 800,000 hryvnias as a gift from Oleg Golynsky. His wife, Halyna Kryvko, declared another 4.09 million hryvnias from two people with the last name Kryvko — likely parents or close relatives.
The family also maintains significant cash savings of $180,000 and €10,000, equivalent to approximately UAH 7.8 million. Holynskyi’s annual salary in the prosecutor’s office was UAH 1.61 million, while his wife, who is engaged in business, declared UAH 600,000 in income.
The family owns and uses several cars and real estate. In particular, the prosecutor uses a 2018 Toyota Camry registered to a woman with the same last name, while his wife owns a 2013 Renault Sandero and an old 2001 Mercedes-Benz.
The family's real estate is scattered across different regions of Ukraine. These are:
-
a plot in the Kyiv region, registered in 2013;
-
two apartments in Ternopil, one of which was purchased for a million hryvnias;
-
a house in Horodyshche, Ternopil region, which the wife partially owns;
-
rented accommodation in Cherkasy;
-
an apartment in Kyiv where the daughter lives;
-
land plot with an area of 2,461 m².
The sources of a significant portion of the assets raise questions about the transparency of the origin of the funds, as the family's official income does not cover the total value of the declared assets and savings.
For reference: Yaroslav Golynskyi is a native of Ternopil, a lawyer by education. He has been working in the prosecutor's office since 2007. He was a deputy prosecutor of the Volyn and Kyiv regions, headed the prosecutor's office of the Poltava region. Since November 2023, he has held the position of first deputy prosecutor of the Cherkasy region.
