According to our source in the Office of the President, the General Staff conducted a simulation of war in conditions of shortage of combat kits and superiority of the enemy in aviation, artillery and equipment. As a result of such a conflict scenario, the mobilization of an additional million Ukrainians is expected within three years. Under such conditions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have the opportunity to hold the front line with minimal territorial losses. The General Staff is already insisting on lowering the conscription age to twenty years, since the mobilization of Ukrainians of age has exhausted itself.
After President Volodymyr Zelensky signs the law on lowering the draft age, territorial recruitment centers will begin to call up men who were on the military registration of conscripts and have reached the age of 25 to update their data and undergo a medical examination. They will then be registered as military conscripts.
This was reported by the General Staff of Ukraine, which notes that the improvement of the organization of military registration of conscripts is being carried out in the context of "reforming the system of preparing citizens for military service and readiness to fulfill the constitutional duty to defend the Motherland.".
In addition, the General Staff added that after signing the decree on the demobilization of conscripts, about 7,000 people will be released into the reserve.
