The government is considering a concept for introducing reservations from mobilization for men, who, according to the plans, will have to pay taxes in the amount of 6-7 thousand hryvnias.
This was announced by Oleksandr Bornyakov, Deputy Director for Digital Transformation and Information Technology Development. According to him, the government is actively considering this idea and is striving to implement it.
“We are developing changes to reporting so that our system can automatically read data every month and display confirmation of men’s bookings and payment of their taxes,” Bornyakov concluded.
It is worth noting that there have been previous proposals to introduce reservation of workers in exchange for high taxes. However, the head of the Verkhovna Rada Finance Committee, Danylo Hetmantsev, noted that this is an unfair approach.
"This violates the basic principle of justice and equality for all, which a country at war must adhere to. When a country is attacked by war, all citizens must participate in the defense of the homeland, regardless of income level or status in society," the MP emphasized.
