The Cabinet of Ministers has expanded the possibilities of reserving workers in critical sectors, allowing up to 100% reserving workers in defense-industrial complex and energy enterprises. The changes also include extending the reserving period for critical enterprises from 6 months to 12 months.

Deputy Minister of Economy Igor Fomenko explained that these changes are not a new booking model, but a modernization of the current Resolution No. 76.
Among other changes:
- Reservation of 100% of employees of defense-industrial complex enterprises with contracts for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.
- Reservation of 100% of employees of enterprises of the energy, nuclear, coal-industrial and oil and gas complexes, as well as enterprises that restore or repair destroyed or damaged objects of the energy complex.
- Reservation of 100% of employees of enterprises building fortifications for the period of validity of the construction contract.
Fomenko noted that these changes will allow enterprises that produce weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to better plan their work and work effectively to increase defense capabilities, and energy enterprises to provide the population with heat and electricity.
Additionally, the government has extended the reservation period for employees of critical enterprises from 6 months to one year and allowed military conscripts to be booked regardless of age, military rank, or military service, even if it is in short supply. In addition, electronic booking has been introduced through the “Diya” portal.
