Appointed in May of this year as the head of the Desnyanskyi district of Kyiv, Maksym Bakhmatov declared significant assets, including significant amounts of cash in foreign currency, gold bars, and real estate purchased in recent years.
According to his declaration for 2024, the official himself earned almost UAH 660,000 from entrepreneurial activities. His wife, Maryna Prosvetina, declared more than UAH 5.2 million in income, most of which was from the sale of real estate. Alla Serdtseva's mother's pension amounted to just over UAH 110,000.
The family's main savings are in foreign currency. Bakhmatov himself has $249,000 in cash, another $20,000, and a small amount in bank accounts. His wife keeps $150,000, and his mother has $50,000. In addition, the declaration lists gold bars worth UAH 125,000.
The family owns six real estate properties purchased since 2021. Among them are an apartment and non-residential premises in Kyiv, a land plot and a garden house, a parking space, and a share of an apartment in Lviv.
The Bakhmatovs' fleet consists of a 2016 Nissan Rogue, purchased by his wife in 2023, and a 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan, which the district head himself received for use under an operational leasing agreement.
Interestingly, Maksym Bakhmatov also declared eight trademarks, including “Supermer”, “Transformation Office”, “Great Transport Circle”, Mentor Bakhmatov and “Mentor”.
Bakhmatov headed the Desnyansk RDA by presidential decree on May 26, 2025. Before that, he worked as an individual entrepreneur in the field of consulting and headed the public organization “Transformation Office”.
