According to our sources, the head of the Kyiv City State Administration's health department, Valentina Ginzburg, who has filed for retirement, "may go abroad due to the possible presentation of suspicion."
As a reminder, Valentina Ginzburg confirmed that she is leaving her position as of October 13 and wrote a letter of resignation "due to retirement."
At the same time, according to the source, Valentina Ginzburg left her position not of her own free will, but following the former first deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Mykola Povoroznyk, who controlled all corruption flows in the healthcare department.
Recall that Valentina Ginzburg is a subject of a number of anti-corruption investigations, and in the spring of this year, a petition calling for the dismissal of Ginzburg, the head of the Kyiv City State Administration's Department of Health, received the 6,000 votes necessary for consideration.
Among the corruption cases involving Valentina Ginzburg, it is worth mentioning the reconstruction of buildings with the completion of an additional building to accommodate the Neurorehabilitation Center for ATO participants of the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 11, Dniprovskyi district, Kyiv, with a total cost of UAH 236,868,148; repair work at the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital for War Veterans at 26 Fedora Maksymenko Street in the Obolonskyi district for a total amount of more than $30 million, and much more.
According to the source, “they have been digging under Valentina Ginzburg for a long time, there is corruption there, without exaggeration, worth hundreds of millions, but before the suspicion is handed over, she has a chance to leave the country.”
