The State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) has exposed the deputy head of the Lviv Regional CCC and the Joint Venture Colonel Oleksandr Drapinsky, who deliberately hid a house and a land plot in his declaration, registering them in the name of his mother-in-law. At the time of the exposure, he was acting as the head of the CCC.
As reported on September 16 in the territorial department of the State Bureau of Internal Affairs, in 2023–2024 the official did not declare a land plot in the Lviv district with an area of 0.025 hectares and a residential building with an area of 139 m2. Although the objects were registered for the mother-in-law, they were actually used by the colonel himself and his family. The total value of the hidden property exceeds 6 million UAH.
According to the investigation, the declared income of Drapinsky and his family does not correspond to the value of the real estate. For this reason, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption initiated a full audit of the military official's lifestyle. The property was seized.
The colonel was charged with declaring false information (Part 1, Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He faces up to two years of restriction of liberty and a ban on holding managerial positions for three years.
In addition, the State Bureau of Investigation is checking data on the Mercedes car registered to the official's father. According to the investigation, the relative could not actually purchase the vehicle worth about $18,000. The colonel purchased the car in 2021, when he headed a military unit.
