The newly appointed acting head of the security police department in the Transcarpathian region, Vladyslav Aranchiy, became the owner of an apartment in Uzhhorod worth over 3 million hryvnias. This was reported by the Absolution detective agency.
According to the registers, in September the officer purchased 69.4 square meters of housing from the developer, Comfort City Uzhhorod LLC.
Aranchy was introduced to the position on July 15 during a meeting of the security police leadership. Before that, he headed the Kremenchuk district security police department in the Poltava region. It is known that he has a PhD in law and has been repeatedly awarded departmental and regional awards.
According to the declaration, in 2024, Vladislav Aranchiy earned about 540 thousand hryvnias. The family also received almost 190 thousand hryvnias in social payments and assistance from charitable foundations. Last year, the family purchased another apartment in Kremenchuk and a Chevrolet Niva car. 63 thousand hryvnias are stored in bank accounts, while the policeman declared 47 thousand dollars in cash.
The purchase of expensive housing in Uzhhorod against the background of a family's relatively modest income may become the subject of attention of anti-corruption authorities, as it raises questions about the origin of the funds.
