The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, together with the Chief of the General Staff, Serhiy Shaptala, spent several days in the areas of responsibility of the operational-strategic groups of the "Tavria" and "Odesa" troops. Zaluzhny reported this in Telegram.
The Commander-in-Chief noted that during the work, they held constructive meetings with commanders of areas and brigade commanders performing tasks in Donetsk region, Kherson region and Zaporizhzhia. They agreed on steps to increase the effectiveness of the use of troops, taking into account the available resources and the operational situation.
Issues related to the situation in the Black Sea area were also discussed in detail together with the Commander of the Naval Forces Oleksii Neizhpapa.
Regarding the situation at the front, according to the General Staff, in the zone of responsibility of the Operation of the Joint Forces (OSUV) "Tavria" in the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders are holding the enemy, who is trying to surround Avdiivka. Deterring enemy attacks also continues in the Marinsk direction.
In the "Odesa" air defense system zone in the Kherson direction, the defense forces managed to expand the bridgehead, but the occupiers continue their attempts to withdraw Ukrainian units from their occupied positions.
The armed forces of Ukraine continue active operations, causing significant losses to the occupying forces in both manpower and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
