One of the most striking sports sedans in the world was spotted on the streets of the capital - the BMW M5 E60, equipped with a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V10, which has direct family ties to the engine of the BMW Formula 1 car.
A photo of the unique car was published on the topcars_ua page on Instagram. The 2006 car attracted attention not only with its appearance, but also with its technical characteristics, which are impressive even today.
Under the hood of the M5 E60 is a 10-cylinder S85 engine with 507 hp at 7750 rpm and 520 N∙m of torque. Thanks to this, the sedan accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 250 km/h (or 305 km/h with the M Driver's Package).
To master these dynamics, BMW Motorsport has completely redesigned the suspension, steering and braking system. This is a true sports car in the body of a business sedan.
Externally, the M5 E60 is easy to distinguish from the standard "five" - aggressive bumpers, aerodynamic body kit, four exhaust pipes, widened fender arches and 19-inch wheels with low-profile tires add brutality to the car. In the cabin - a sports steering wheel, seats and premium trim.
In total, only 20,589 BMW M5 E60s were produced from 2004 to 2010. This model is very rare in Ukraine, especially in good condition. And it is all the more valuable for car enthusiasts to see it live on the roads of Kyiv.
