Intelligence has determined the direction the Russian army could take in the event of an offensive

The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andriy Yusov, reported on the possible activation of the Russian army near Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region. He noted that the reason for such alerts was an article in the British newspaper The Telegraph, which indicated a possible "large-scale offensive" by the Russian Federation on the Kharkiv region on January 15.

Andriy Yusov confirmed that Ukrainian intelligence has recorded the movements of enemy forces and equipment in the Kupyansk direction, which may indicate the aggressor's possible preparation for offensive actions in this sector of the front. However, he did not confirm the exact date indicated in The Telegraph article.

“At the same time, we cannot claim that the Russians are preparing for these actions on the specified dates. Ukrainian security and defense forces are ready to respond,” Yusov emphasized. It is important to note that the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Andriy Chernyak, also did not confirm the information of The Telegraph regarding the Russians’ preparation for an offensive in the Kharkiv region on January 15.

It is currently the 682nd day of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, with 62 combat clashes recorded over the past 24 hours, most of which took place in the Avdiivka, Maryinsky, and Kherson directions.
